I haven't posted in a while, but at least it wasn't as long has last time, right? ^-^;
Everything is pretty much the same has my last post; although, life's a little more hectic. Who'd have thought that? Winter Break is supposed to be relaxing, right? Why wasn't it?
I've had a ton of work to do over Break, thanks to school: an English speech and oral presentation; a full science chapter, power notes and test; three plus hours of damn algebra (I'm in Geometry, why do I have to do sooo much algebra? That's just cruel...), plus studying for the test based off the packet first thing on Monday, and some other, minor things. On top of that, since I was accepted for People to People (going to Japan this summer has an ambassador, yaay!!!!) I have to do seven online chapters, plus three tests that went with the chapters, and and U.S. Civics worksheet. It's worth it to go Japan, but I can complain a little, right? The online chapters were okay- although, I'll admit the Government/History chapter bored the crap out of me because I already knew most of what it was saying. But I reallllyyy hated that Civics sheet. As much has I try to be, I really am not interested in politics. I know it's good to know, but I really don't care who our Secretary of State our U.S. Senator is... That was crazy-hard to find information on, and I don't think I got all of the people and their positions right... xD
But I did get to go ice skating with my friends twice this break. That was loaaads of fun. J'dore ice skating! I have a few pictures I might add to this blog later, when I've loaded them to the computer. :]
Now, we're in 2009. New Year's Eve sucked- I think it was one of the worst ones I've had? I'm used to spending New Year's Eve alone, and usually New Year's Night. This time Papa and Jeremy were here...and Mum disappeared. It's a long story, but put shortly: She left the house to walk to Darren's with wine or something so she could party with him, Jessica and their friends/family. Why does this matter? One, she told no one she was going. Two, she was at least buzzed already. Three, there are cops picking up people; someone walking with wine or something is pretty much a good person to arrest for the night, right? Well, Papa and I went to check and see if she was at Darren's, since he hadn't called us like he was supposed to. Turns out they had called Jeremy, but he decided not to tell us Mum had been picked up by Darren. Go figure. Mum basically told me she doesn't want Papa and I around. Isn't that just endearing of her? Whatever. It's over, and she seems to be trying to make up for it. Not like it's an easy thing to make up.
Oh! I got my hair done again. This time it's navy blue, light blue, dark purple, my natural color, and whatever other shades the once-blondish tips of my hair decided to take on. xD The colors really range from navy to blue-gray to steelish blue, to purple. I think there might even be some pink from my red streaks in there, too. Lol
Voila:

However demonic I look in this one, it stills shows off the colors fairly well. xD
Well, I believe that's all. I'm going to go back to reading and drawing and listening to manga...
Oh, speaking of reading, you can expect some new posts about recommended books from moi- most likely they'll be beacoup of the posts, since I've read so much. (Try over ten books in one month. xD) Or...maybe just a few that I reeeallly enjoyed? We'll see, when I have time to post again.
Until then, ma petites. :}
